In 1875, Georg Robel founded a file factory in Munich. Just 25 years later, it developed into the first and, for decades, only German factory specializing in rail construction machines. Today, the companies of the ROBEL Group design all maintenance processes on the track and in the railway infrastructure: track maintenance, rail treatment, rail logistics, track measurement technology, process automation and service over the entire machine life cycle – to create modern conditions for working on tracks.
